BUT! i barely have anything.
not that it's something i dwell upon; just would be nice to be a little fuller that's all.
which brings me to post this entry: i am confused with this whole bra sizing system.
*plus i have NO SHAME! hahaha!
i currently wear 32A (yes, i am a small skinny girl).
but i don't even think i fully fill it out. i think i need something that's smaller than an A cup.
what is the difference between AA and NA?
i "researched" it online and this is what i found:
If difference is: 0" 1" 2" 3" 4" 5" 6" 7" 8" 9"
Then cup size is: AA A B C D DD DDD & F G H I
If difference is equal to or larger than: 1/2 in. 1 in. 1 1/2 in. 2 in. 2 1/2 in.
Then cup size is: NA
(Nearly A) A NB
(Nearly B) B NC
so does this mean it's: AA then NA then A (smallest to biggest)? and where would i find these sizes?!
i don't want to randomly order bras online just to try them on.
victoria's secret is so not my friend.
it's depressing when looking through their catalog of cute bras only to find out their smallest size is a 32B in those specific designs.
apparently playtex and hanes sell bras in these super small sizes but ew! can we say not cute?!
i also came upon this brand called wacoal that seems to be friendly to small breasted women. woohoo!
i don't think they are that well known in america. though i have seen this brand being sold in hong kong.
Questions for other 32A women:
where do you buy your bras?
what brands and what kind of cut?
i currently wear the following brands:
xhilaration - cute colorful bras sold at target
wacoal - more nude and classic tones i bought in hong kong
it's already difficult enough as it is to find clothes that's sexy and flattering for flat-chested women.
why must shopping for a bra that fits be just as difficult?
i should just get paris hilton's bra. hahaha!

demi cups are so cute! i wish i was able to fill them out. i can't even wear corsets. this is all so sad. they should make some for mini chested women. anybody know of any?

Disclaimer: i don't think my entry came off as being boobie envy haha! i like my teenie boobies i am not really looking for padded bras here - so non of that gel inserts, water based rubber, cushioned cotton padding for me. i would just like to find well-fitted flattering lingerie for my perky breasts to feel sexy

2if you're not up for the free hanging mode, try a strapless spandex bandeau top, with or without padding. that's what i wear whenever i go strapless. i have one by fashion forms that's pretty comfy.
3p.s. you're right on the sizing: smallest to largest - AA, NA, A.
4Wow Corkie you just gave me more info on this matter. I buy "A" cups but I also do not feel them out completely. The top always gapes open. I always wondered if there was something smaller than an "A" cup without going to the childrens section for a training bra. I have never seen anything smaller than "A"cup to buy.
I too have problems trying to buy bras at Victoria Secrets. BTW I know her secret...Breast implanted women.
I went in their store last week to get one of their new bras that they had advertised only to be told they do not carry that in my size. BUT they did finally give
me a bra to try and I love it. It is called "Very Sexy" and let me tell you, It is the first bra I have ever had that actually lifted and pushed me together where I have cleavage and
something called breast.
The bra is so comfortable. It is a little expensive. I paid $50 or mine but it is worth every penny. Do you know I could be rich for everytime I have heard the comment "Girl you are nothing but some sunny side up" (meaning egg yolks for breast) from lingerie stores. Go try it and let me know what you think. I can't wait to start investing in every color.
5I am a large boobie girl and they just can't seem to get it right for anyone. Even those with the "perfect" size can't find one that fit.
My problem are the straps, I don't want to have dents in my shoulders my whole life from straps digging into me but I also get tired of having to pull the damn things up all the time.
I too have Victoria's secret! They never have any girl working their over the age of 30 and they are all like a size 10 or smaller.
So ANY woman who walks in there feels self concious about how they look.. I know high school girls who get worked up about this stuff,
I work with them at a Hallmark store and try to be supportive (no pun intended)
I don't need a wonder bra I just want one that fits good in the store and six months later..

6I'm a 32AA 20+ something asian girl too! I like my flat chest too, especially when you don't have to worry about appearing indecent when wearing a low-cut dress because there just isnt' anything to ogle at. lol. but sometimes, you kinda wish you looked like a woman (not a 13 year old, but people tell me that's when padded/gel inserted bras come in handy...but those things make me feel unconfortable or stiff or the boobs just don't look right under a shirt). But anyway, I shop for bra's in the girls sections. And surprisingly lately, little girls bra's are getting cuter and sexier to mirror adult bra's these days. They now come in bright colors, prints, lacey, and with cute little bows. The best part is they all cost under 10 bucks! The ones I like best are from Kohls, Walmart, and occasionally Target or Kmart. The styles changes very frequently too. Kohl's also has a teenage line now by Candie and L.E.I. that the 32A seems to fit really well. And sexy too!
7Oh, I also agree with not finding anything at Victoria's secret that fits. When I come there, they always suggest I get gel inserts. But I've tried the ones with gel inserts and they still don't lift anything where you can see boops popping up and out if I wore a low-cut shirt like other women, perhaps because the bra band is still not tight enough for a good lift. But I agree with mominator, the only bra that I found that fit at VS is the Very Sexy (plunge-neck strapless/convertible) bra. But the wire it uses is very hard and uncomfortable at times. Since it's so expensive I only save it to wear for special occassions or when I need a strapless. Speaking of strapless, is it just me, or is strapless the hardest to find for a 32AA? Unfortunately, they don't sell hardly any strapless for little girls. So I'm at least very fortunate there is that Very Sexy kind at Victoria Secret that works. In fact it is my first strapless bra ever
